Painting and Sculpture
We are thrilled to announce that Lalith Senanayake, a world-famous sculptor, has joined Canvastone Children's Art Studio as an instructor! With an impressive international reputation for
his innovative approach to sculpting, Lalith is celebrated for his ability to transform recycled materials into breathtaking works of art. His expertise and passion for creativity have made
a profound impact in the global art world, and now, we are incredibly fortunate to have him sharing his knowledge with our students.
Lalith’s artistic journey spans decades, during which he has exhibited his sculptures worldwide and contributed to public art installations that inspire creativity and environmental consciousness.
His mastery of form, texture, and movement in sculpture is unparalleled, and his ability to work with a wide variety of materials—from traditional mediums to upcycled objects—makes him
a unique and inspiring mentor for young artists.
At Canvastone, Lalith will continue teaching drawing and digital arts, helping students refine their artistic skills and develop their own creative voices. In addition, we are proud to introduce
a brand-new opportunity: painting classes in sculpture, led by Lalith himself. This exciting addition allows students to explore sculpture in a new way, incorporating painting techniques into
their three-dimensional creations.
Having someone of Lalith’s caliber at Canvastone is a tremendous privilege, and we know our students will benefit immensely from his talent, guidance, and artistic vision.
We can’t wait to see the incredible sculptures and paintings that will emerge under his instruction!
Welcome to Canvastone, Lalith!
